Every year Trevertons Grade 10’s do the “Giant” hike. Its a coming of age adventure that tests the young men and women both physically and mentally. They will have to face personal challenges as well as group challenges. They spend 14 days out in the wilderness, hiking, canoeing and cycling to summit the Giants Castle and then make their way back. While they have plenty of logistical support from the school. They leave from the school premises on foot and by bike and return in the same way. They are not driven to the base of Giants castle.
