Treverton Athletes performed at KZN Athletic Youth Champs

It was the most successful trials for athletes as they came home victorious on Wednesday, 19 February, as they attended final Midlands Athletic Trials in Pietermaritzburg.

The following athletes performed exceptionally well in the first and second places and they should be included in the team that will participate in the KZN Athletic Youth Champs in March.

Girls:
Gemma Hickinbotham – 1st (u17)
Lisa Stenjana – 1st shot put (u18)
Hali Jelliman – 1st high jump (u15)
Lisa Beddy – 1st javelin (u17)
Michaela Licen – 2nd 100m (u17)

Monique Friend – 2nd javelin (u15)
Sarah Bernard – 2nd discus (u15) & 2nd long jump (u15)

Boys:
Kai Broom – 1st triple jump (u15)
Jame Boardman – 1st discus (u15)
Ryan Stockil – 1st high jump (u17)
Byron Barnard – 1st javelin (u19)
Caleb Jennings – 2nd 800m (u15)
Oliver Gunner – 2nd discus (u15)
