Grantleigh Schools’ U15 cricket team delivered a stellar performance in their recent T20 clash against the KCCD Hub team. The team secured a commanding 31-run win that highlighted their growing prowess on the pitch.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the boys set a formidable total of 138 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs. Hansie Kotze anchored the innings with a composed and classy 58 off 46 balls, showcasing maturity beyond his years. He was also ably supported by Zack Dewrance, whose aggressive 41 off just 29 deliveries added vital momentum to the scoreboard.
With a solid total on the board, Grantleigh’s bowlers rose to the occasion. Zack Dewrance continued his all-round brilliance by snaring 3 key wickets. Seth Dewrance also delivered a sensational spell of 3 wickets for just 2 runs. He dismantled the opposition’s middle order and sealed the game in style.
