St John’s D.S.G. from Pietermaritzburg, had a very exciting week, winning both the Junior School A Gala and, for the second year in a row, the Senior Girls’ Relay Gala. This is the first time in the school’s history that St John’s D.S.G. has won both these prestigious galas in the same year.

Swimming coach, Cara Schirge, says, “We are very proud of the commitment and determination that all our girls have shown this season.

Their hard work has paid off, and they are so deserving of these results. A big thank you, too, to our two other swimming coaches, Bev Shuttleworth and Kristy Burt, for all that they have done to help our squad girls reach their full potential.”
