St Charles College. The Senior Primary year builds to a crescendo over the course of the 4th term. Assessments and examinations, “Science Explosion” programme, Grade 7 Final Dinner, Grade 5 Medieval Feast and so many other exciting additions to the school day led up to the “Grand Finale”.
This year’s event was possible with a full Chapel as well as many joining in online from across the country and around the world. Boys took centre stage, sharing their talents in music and speaking with poise and confidence. St Charles College Grade 7 Class of 2022 shared the story of “Five Animals” representing the core values of the College – Honesty, Courage, Responsibility, Self-Discipline and Respect.
Awards recognizing the hard work and achievements of the boys always bring surprised smiles and much enjoyment from the proud audience. The penultimate award of the Dux of the Senior Primary went to a humble, respectful young man. Kaden Govindasamy earned this accolade, along with various subject prizes. Congratulation to Kaden and Yisun NG-Yang, who also earned the Ward Shield as runner up.
Farewells to members of the St Charles College family are difficult but gave an opportunity to thank and celebrate people that have made an impact on our school.
“We ask God’s blessing on the Recognition Ceremony each year and are so grateful for his mighty hand that is always over our school.” – Mr Brett Sliedrecht (Head of Senior Primary).
