Recently the boys from the Senior Primary of St Charles College, Pietermaritzburg, joined forces with some girls from St John’s D.S.G. to tackle a fun evening of Maths questions and problem solving. Each St Charles College boy had to invite one of the girls from the same grade to be his partner for the evening. Once paired up the teams began their Maths challenges, made up of four 20 minute intervals. Even some of the parents decided to get in on the fun, competing against each other to see who could answer the questions correctly. Congratulations to the winners from each grade and their partners, who each won a board game.
The SCC winners from each grade were as follows:
Grade 4 – Slade Siebert
Grade 5 – Tynin Sampson
Grade 6 – Dean Zartmann
Grade 7 – Jethro Shaw
