St Charles College Olympic Hopeful

St Charles College’ swimming captain, Matthew Sates, has, in his five Inter House galas at St Charles College, bettered 27 records. The Callixte Cup for Best Performance at our recent Inter House Gala was a 49,55 second 100m Freestyle – there will be very few schoolboys who have dipped under 50 seconds in the world this year. Phenomenal performance! – Mr Rowan Irons (Director of Sport)

“We would also like to take this opportunity to wish Matthew all the best as he travels to Gqeberha to race in the SA Swimming Championships and Olympic Trials, being held at the Newton Park Swimming Pool from the 7th of April.”
