Senior school academic awards at St Andrew’s School for Girls from Bedfordview, are calculated on the subject year mark achieved at the end of the 2018 academic year. Girls must have written the November examinations to be eligible for an award.

Risana Baloyi, Jessica Franklin, Marvelous Aderibigbe, Kayla Chinhakwe, Carolyn Laker, Entle Macoba, Thandeka Makhubu, Elena Mandic, Andzani Mthenjane, Angela Wang and Hae Soo Kim are all awarded with junior colours for academics.

In Grade 10 and 11 at St Andrew’s School for Girls, a minimum of 65% must be achieved for Life Orientation in order to be eligible for an award. Where Life Orientation does not count as a subject distinction, additional subjects such as Advance Programme Mathematics and English do count. Academic half colours are presented to a girl who achieved a minimum of 4 subject distinctions in her grade 10 year marks. Charlotte Cannone, Nicole Chetty, Khumo Kgoadi, Gomolemo Moloi, Mbali Musundwa, Shanae Stevens, Sabeeha Suleman and Betty Zhu are all awarded with half colours for academics.
