My name is Sarah Thurston. I am in Athlone Grade 12. I started at St Andrew’s in Grade 7. My fondest memories are playing 1st team hockey matches and tournaments. The greatest skill St Andrew’s has taught me is the power of perseverance and resilience in helping me to achieve my goals. My advice to younger girls is to never lose sight of your goals and to always find time for family and friends. After leaving St Andrew’s, I would like to study Science at WITS University or the University of Pretoria.
