My name is Kelly Baker. I am in Grade 12, Farrar House; and I was fortunate enough to become an Andrean in Grade 8. St Andrew’s is a dream for many, but a reality for few – we are very lucky to attend such a prestigious school. One of my fondest memories was being cheered and supported by the school while skipping at the annual Netball Festival. I will forever cherish the friendships I made, and will continue to sing the School Hymn with pride. The greatest lesson I’ve learnt is to have the courage to face new things; and that in the failures and disappointments, there is always something to be learned. My advice to the younger girls would be to face each new challenge with grit and determination. After school, I plan to study Law and play a positive role in South African society.
