My name is Amukelani Manda. I am in Selborne Grade 12, and started at St Andrew’s in Grade 10 as a post-uBambiswano student. My fondest memory at the school is of when I was still in uBambiswano and we got to engage with the St Andrew’s Community Task Team girls in 2016. I remember enjoying the interaction with the St Andrew’s girls and my fellow classmates – playing musical chairs and general knowledge. That is when I took it upon myself to work hard to get a scholarship from St Andrew’s – and it happened! St Andrew’s has taught me humility and dedication. The environment and the girls set an amazing standard for you as a student and an individual. All you have to do is balance keeping up to the standard while having fun. I plan to study MbChB, which is Medicine at Wits.
