My name is Emma Paget. I am in Farrar, Grade 12. I came to the school in grade 8 and have made memories and friends that will last a lifetime. My favourite memory has to be playing with my hockey team in the various tournaments such as St Mary’s Fest. I also loved the hockey tour to Amsterdam in 2018. One of the funniest memories I shared with my friends was on grade 9 camp when we played stalk-the-lantern with the teachers. My friends and I were busy trying to find the lantern when we came across the teachers cooking marshmallows and they said the game had ended 45 minutes ago! Clearly, we were on the winning team
. St Andrew’s (both friends and staff) have given me the space to be who I am. They have accepted my quirkiness, passion and drive with open arms, always encouraging me to be the best version of myself. Words of advice that I would give the younger Andreans, would be: Never stop believing In yourself! Set goals for yourself and try everything, you never know unless you try. After school, I plan on studying overseas where I can play top-level hockey whilst getting a good degree. I am going to study Law with Criminal Psychology to hopefully one day become an advocate.
