Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a symbol of hope, reconciliation and a passionate believer in the power of education to encourage, enlighten and create change. St Andrew’s Saturday School, uBambiswano, shares that passion and believes that education is more than numeracy and literacy. They believe that education can shape a person’s life and have a far-reaching impact on families and communities. Education gives people and communities hope. It is with this spirit that they planned their Mandela Day celebrations.
