Social Rugby. Curro Delft from Cape Town, learners take social rugby to the next level at Cape Flats Rugby 7s tournament
A group of learners from Curro Delft took the win for the U16 girls final game at the Cape Flats Rugby 7s Tournament. The tournament was held at Athlone Stadium on Saturday, 3rd and Sunday, 4th of September.Â
As a Digi-Ed model school, Curro Delft does not actually offer rugby to its learners. They are choosing instead to replace this with fun subjects such as Robotics. This equip learners with technologically advanced skills needed in the 21st century. Yet, as the girls have shown, learners who want to pursue sports are still encouraged and supported by the school to do so in their spare time.
