Senior Cricket Festival. Day 2 of the Union High School, Graaff-Reinet Senior Cricket Festival brought another proud moment for the school community. Two Union youngsters stepped onto the field for their very first match representing the prestigious 1st XI.
In a declaration-format encounter against Stirling High School, Josh Kingwill and Jordan Maritz marked a special milestone in their cricketing journeys. Before the match, the pair were presented with their white caps. This is a symbol of dedication, perseverance, and the honour of wearing Union colours.
This occasion not only highlights their personal achievement. It also reflects the strength of Union’s cricketing tradition, where commitment and hard work pave the way for future success.
