Schools Hockey. On Saturday Kearsney played against Hilton’s top-rated 1st hockey team, in a game which the visitors won 2-0.
Hilton played well in parts of the game with Kearsney making some crucial mistakes. Hilton scored their first goal because of poor defence and their second came from a quick counter-attack.
Kearsney didn’t take advantage of their chances in the first half. In the last 10 minutes of the second half, however, they started to play better, but it was too late. Hilton defended well and easily broke through Kearsney’s midfield defence.
