GRAHAMSTOWN — The 2025 edition of the St Andrew’s College Football Cup wrapped up in spectacular fashion this weekend, delivering two unforgettable finals that also showcased the very best of South African schoolboy football.
In the Under-15 division, Jeppe High School for Boys clinched the title with a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Bishops. The match was a masterclass in determination and flair, with both sides demonstrating top-tier skill and sportsmanship. Jeppe’s triumph was a testament to their tactical discipline and relentless drive.
First Team final
The First Team final was a dramatic showdown between Bishops and Curro Academy Wilgeheuwel. After a tense draw in regular time, the match was decided by a penalty shootout. Bishops held their nerve to emerge victorious. The win marked a crowning achievement for the Cape Town side and also underscored the competitive spirit that defined the tournament.
