SAICA Olympiad. Eunice High School in Bloemfontein has proudly claimed first place in the Free State at the prestigious SAICA Accounting Olympiad. This is a remarkable achievement that highlights the school’s academic excellence and dedication to nurturing future financial leaders.
The SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) Accounting Olympiad is an annual competition. The competition is aimed at identifying and developing young accounting talent across South Africa. Open to Grade 12 learners studying Accountancy or Mathematics, the Olympiad also promotes awareness of the vital role accounting plays in society and the exciting career paths it offers.
🎉 Congratulations to Cheryl Lima Perez. She achieved 1st place in both the district and the Free State finals. This is also a phenomenal accomplishment that sets her apart as one of the top accounting minds in the region.
👏 Joan-Marie Fourie also delivered an outstanding performance, placing 3rd in the district and 8th in the Free State.
At the official prize-giving ceremony, Cheryl Lima Perez, Joan-Marie Fourie, and their dedicated educator, Mrs Riana Wessels, were honoured for their exceptional contributions and achievements.
