SA U19 Women’s Cricket. Durban Girls’ College extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ziya Mohanlall (Grade 9) on reaching an extraordinary milestone in her cricketing journey!
Ziya has been selected to represent the South Africa U19 Women’s team, which will travel to Lagos, Nigeria, from 18–29 March 2026 to compete in the Nigeria Cricket Federation’s International T20 tournament. This prestigious event forms part of the squad’s preparation for the ICC U19 Women’s World Cup in 2027.
Adding to this remarkable achievement, Ziya made her professional debut for the Hollywoodbets Dolphins Ladies team this past weekend—an incredible accomplishment at just 14 years old.
The school is immensely proud of Ziya and wishes her every success as she continues to represent both her province and her country on the international stage.
