SA Target Rifle Association. SATRA National Championship Success.
Congratulations to Nathan Holesgrove on an outstanding performance in the recent South African Target Rifle Association (SATRA) competitions held during the school holidays.
Having recently transitioned from air rifle shooting to the .22 caliber, Nathan competed as a registered member of Rhodes University in a series of prestigious events, including the National Championships and Free State Championships in Bloemfontein, followed by the Southern Cape Championships in Oudtshoorn.
Nathan delivered an impressive set of results in his debut with the .22 calibre:
- 🥈 Silver Medal – National Championships U25 50m event, with a superb score of 2711/3000
- 🥈 Silver Medal – Free State U25 competition
- 🥇 Gold Medal – Southern Cape U25 competition
These competitions demand exceptional discipline, precision, and commitment. Nathan’s performances reflect not only his dedication to the sport but also his ability to excel at a national level.
What makes these results even more remarkable is that this was his first experience competing with the .22 calibre. His achievements promise an exciting future filled with growth and success.
