SA Schools Swimming Championship. St Charles College – Swimming Excellence.
St Charles College proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of our swimmers who represented KwaZulu-Natal at the SA Schools Swimming Championships.
A massive well done to Shane van der Linde, Ziya Jasat, Dax Herbst, Connor Crutchley, and Tshepahalo Thwala. Competing at this level is no small feat – it reflects countless early mornings, long training sessions, and a level of discipline and perseverance that truly sets you apart. Your commitment has made both St Charles College and KZN proud.
Building on this success, St Charles College extends its congratulations to Shane van der Linde and Rayhan Khonat for their exceptional performances at the South African National Youth Championships and the SA National Aquatic Senior Championships.
Shane van der Linde delivered a phenomenal showing:
- Gold in the 100m, 200m, and 400m Freestyle
- Broke the 200m Freestyle record in the prelims, then smashed it again in the finals, securing his place as the new record holder
Competing against South Africa’s very best, both Shane and Rayhan rose to the challenge, proudly securing Top 10 finishes nationally in their respective individual events.
