Point High School learner donates blankets to ACVV

On 8 October, it was my privilege to donate handmade woolen blankets to ACVV Seebries Tehuise, Mossel Bay. I’ve been raised to know that it doesn’t matter what you do in life, but rather it matters what you make of life. I first learnt how to knit from both my grandmother and mother, and haven’t stopped since! It’s out of habit to knit when watching tv or any other stationary activity. This has been my second time donating the knitted blankets to ACVV Seebries Tehuise, and it has been met each time with an abundance of kindness and joy. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to give back to my town and my community. It’s a privilege to be able to give something of substance to someone who may enjoy it for times to come.
