Through the Wildlands Clothes for Life initiative, Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School was awarded R3 000 and three trees which were bartered with the Wildlands Tree-preneurs. A rebate is also offered to the school for the clothes that are collected.
Learners in the school collected a total of 529.97 kgs of clothes and received a rebate for 377.36 kgs. Proudly with their Yellow wood trees are the top three class representatives (from left) Sith’a Sikutshwa, Aphelele Ngcobo, Amy Webster (Wildlands relationship manager) and Aishlyn Mulligan.
