The first school magazine was published in 1931. It contained a letter from Miss Burns, news of the Old Girls, pupils’ contributions, reports on groups such as the Debating Society, and the sporting activities of the past year. The magazine was in black and white and was only 30 pages.
Today, our school magazine has 84 pages, in full colour. Now our school has about 25 societies and 16 sporting codes. We include photos of artwork from our Matrics, creative writing from English, Afrikaans and isiZulu, cover excursions from the year and reports from our Learner Leadership; Prefects, Peer Counsellors and the Representative Council of Learners and much more.
