During the first term the Grade 8s at Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School are tasked with making toys from recyclable materials during their Technology classes. The toys are then donated to Singakwenza, a charity organisation that uses teaching resources made solely from recycling to help caregivers provide fun, educational activities that enable children to learn through play.
