Two of their hockey stars, Ahmeadyn Claasen and Nolwazi Zondi have been selected for the South African U17 and 18B Squad and South African 18B respectively.
Polo Crosse players, Camryn Minnaar and Candice O’Dell, played in the South African U19 team in a series against England. Both learners received accolades as best player in their respective positions.
Kate Croudance represented South Africa in the U23 Sprint Kayaking World Championship in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Many GHS learners represented KwaZulu-Natal in their various sporting codes.
Kiara Naidoo achieved three gold medals in doubles, mixed doubles and single events in the U15 age group in Table Tennis.
Rose Barnsley represented KZN in the U19 for Squash.

Leah Hardy participated in the South African Caneo Polo Championships hosted by the Knysna Canoeing Club this year. Teams from KZN, Gauteng and Western Province took part. Leah played for the KZN U21 ladies and senior ladies side. The U21 team were placed second in their category while the senior ladies placed third in their category.
Melonie Croeser placed first U14 and Olivia Woodburn placed second U14 in the first upper Umgeni of the canoeing season.
Melonie also participated in the South African Marathon Championship and achieved Gold in U14 K1, Gold in U16 K2, Bronze in U18 K2
