Pi Day was held at Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School

Pi Day was held at Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School on 14 March 2018. Pi Day, which is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant ?. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of ?.

Various activities were on the go and enjoyed by all. Ira McLuckie won the competition for knowing the most numbers of the number Pi. She memorized 63 numbers and was able to show off her achievement for the whole school during assembly.
