schoolsthatrockOn Thursday 15 February 2018, 12 boys and 4 teachers from Paarl Boys’ High took the journey to Worcester for the annual Frank Myburgh Twilight Gala. Due to the devastating drought many schools had not continued with swimming for the 2018 season, so it was the die-hards that competed on the day.
Boys’ High was victorious for the 8th year in a row, winning the Boys section comfortably above Paarl Gim, Worcester Gim, Parel Vallei and Hs Hugenote. Eric Slabbert set a new record in the boys U16 backstroke and Werner Strauss proudly accepted the trophy on Boys’ High’s behalf.
