Nippers Lifesaving Competitions. Two learners from Kingswood College, Grahamstown, Cayden and Jazz Claassen were awarded trophies in chapel this morning. Both Cayden and Jazz have been competing in the Nippers Lifesaving Competitions with Summerstrand Lifesaving Club. Cayden won Nipper of the Year 2024 U10’s , Best U10 Still Water 2024 and Best U10 Body Boarding 2024 (shared with another boy).
Jazz won Best Micro Nipper 2024 (shared with another girl). Cayden has also been swimming in the “A” league swimming galas and at the Gala on the 5th of October. He came 1st in his age group for 50m Breaststroke and 1st for 50m Butterfly, 2nd in 100m Breaststroke and 3rd in 50m Freestyle.
Jazz also swam in her first PEA Gala in September and managed to come 3rd in the 25m.
