National MTB Finals. 🚴♀️ Treverton’s Kayleigh Reinecke Shines at National MTB Finals.
The mountain biking season is wrapping up with a flurry of results, and Treverton College, Mooi River, is proud to celebrate one of its rising stars. Grade 7 learner Kayleigh Reinecke has made her mark on the national stage, representing Treverton and KwaZulu-Natal with grit and determination.
Competing in the Primary School National Finals held in Tzaneen, Limpopo, Kayleigh joined the KZN Provincial Team in her debut season of Cross-country (XCO) MTB. Battling scorching temperatures that soared to 35°C and navigating fiercely competitive terrain, she held her own among South Africa’s top young riders.
Kayleigh crossed the finish line in 23rd place in her age group—a remarkable achievement for a first-time national competitor. Her performance reflects not only her talent and tenacity but also the strength of Treverton’s sporting spirit.
