National Afrikaans Competition – Camps Bay High School

National Afrikaans Competition. Camps Bay High School achieved an impressive second place in the Western Cape among participating state schools in the National Afrikaans Competition “Die Afrikaanse Nasionale Kompetisie: Tweede Taal (Dankie Junior 2024).”

This year, 31 of Camps Bay’s Grade 8 and 9 learners participated in the competition, joined close to 1000 learners from 46 schools across South Africa.

The Camps Bay learners delivered outstanding individual performances:

  • Gold (Top 5%): Ulfah Bassier and Christen Rass (Grade 9)
  • Silver (Top 10%): Toccara Bailey (Grade 9)
  • Bronze (Top 15%): Nihaal Johaar (Grade 9)
