Music – This year Grey College Secondary School host their 17th Musical Festival. It will take place in the Callie Human Hall at the University of the Free State.
Catch the music Grey College mass choir in action. You can join them on the following two dates: Friday 26th August and Saturday 27th August 2022. Both shows will start at 19:00.
This year it is an honour to welcome Old Grey, Tshepo Mokoena. Liezel Pieters and Timothy Moloi who will be sharing the music stage with Grey College’s talented learners.
During his high school years at Grey College, Mokoena was the lead drummer in the school’s music Boereorkes. Today he is a well-known gospel artist.
Famous for her songs Asemloos, Ons Sal Self, In Ons Bloed and Droë Riviere, Pieters is an avid supporter of animal rights.
Timothy Moloi has performed at spectacular events such as the South African Music Awards, Miss South Africa Pageants and the Tri Nations. Songs such as Love Is Never Blind, Cry Me a Rivier and Libiama are proof as to why Moloi belongs on stage.
