Music Festival. On Thursday, 20 July, Hoërskool Patriot played host to a spectacular display of music and talent during its first ever Music Festival. The festival, which lasted for three days was aimed at encouraging students to improve their musical skills. They were also provided with a platform to showcase their talents.
The festival saw a total of 19 choirs, as well as various solo and instrumental acts, perform to an eager and enthusiastic crowd. Among these performances were the Ermelo High School Choir, Marimba Band and Drummers, who brought their A-game to the stage and left the audience thoroughly impressed.
The Music Festival was a fantastic way to showcase the musical talent within the school and local community. It is a testament to the importance of music education and the impact it has on learners’ lives. EHS thanks Hoërskool Patriot for the opportunity and look forward to participating again in the future. EHS is very proud of mr. Phila Dladla, the choir, marimba players and drummers.
