How do you see your role as head leader of Windhoek Gymnasium Curro?
I see my leadership as a platform where you can set a good example for the younger generation and help shape them.
Do you think the measures taken by the government in respect of Covid-19 for schools are justified?
Yes, the wellbeing of the learners have been the number one priority. However, many schools were placed in an undesirable position and was not able to effectively continue with online learning. Fortunately, we as a Curro school had the resources for online learning.
Who do you look to for inspiration and mentorship?
My three sisters, who also happen to be my best friends.
Which field of study do you intend pursuing after school?
I am going to study Medicine.
Do you think that Namibian schools offer you sufficient opportunities for the field of study you intend to pursue? Why?
Windhoek Gymnasium offers the best I can ask for. The highly regarded curriculum will prepare me for this challenging field of study.
Do you think participation in sport should be made compulsory in schools?
No, everyone has different strengths and we should focus on that instead of trying to change someone.
What did you enjoy most during your school career?
Seeing how the schooI created a space that developed and formed me as a person.
Are you 100% sure of the field of study you contemplate pursuing after school? Please explain your answer.
Yes, there is no other field that I find as interesting as medicine. It has always been a dream of mine to help people who need it most, which can be done best in the medical field.
Which University will you attend next year?
My first choice is University of Pretoria (Tuks).
