Maths Mania Competition. Clarendon High School, East London, was invited to participate in the Grade 8 and Grade 9 MATHS MANIA competition at Stirling High School. There were three rounds of various mathematical activities, with Grade 8 and 9s competing together in one age group (no calculators were allowed).
Clarendon’s team members were as follows:
Gr 9 team

Gr 8 team
- Méha Govind
- Khanya Zamxaka
- Isobel Botha
- Sophie Latimer
Both teams had lots of fun and worked enthusiastically throughout the night.
The final score was as follows:
- 1st place: STIRLING Grade 9 team
- 2nd place: MERRIFIELD Grade 9 team
- 3rd place: CLARENDON Grade 9 team
