Teaching learners 3D maths is quite essential. Why? Because calculating area is necessary in many jobs and skills when learners become adults as well as later in maths schooling.
Mrs Helane Keyser recently got the 3D-concept across to her learners with a hands-on project. By having the learners figure out how to make 3D boxes and cylinders out of pieces of paper, she got them thinking about how 3D shapes are fabricated.
