Mathematics Olympiad. Congratulations to Adam Rassou (Grade 9) for his exceptional performances in Mathematics competitions this year.
- In the final round of the South African Mathematics Olympiad, Adam narrowly missed a top-ten placing but was awarded a trophy for achieving the highest score in the junior category from a Quintile 5 school in South Africa.
- He also excelled in the final round of the WITS Mathematics Competition, securing second place overall and finishing as the top-ranked participant from South Africa (the overall winner hailed from another African country).
Well done, Adam – an outstanding achievement!
We also extend congratulations to all the Grade 8 and 9 learners who represented SACS in the final round of the WITS Mathematics Competition:
