As part of their cultural club choices, the boys in the Prep School of St Charles College, have been given the opportunity to take part in lessons with Sr Morag van Deventer. During these classes, the boys will learn valuable life-saving skills, such as CPR, Heimlich manoeuvre for choking (in babies, children and adults), some first aid, and basic steps in dealing with an emergency, and making a call to emergency services.
Mr Bongi Mwandla will be assisting and teaching water life-saving skills, and combined with Sr Morag, doing CPR practice after a possible drowning.
