Lance Klusener U15 Cricket. Northwood’s U15 cricket team delivered a flawless campaign at the Lance Klusener U15 Cricket Festival, indeed. The team finished unbeaten with four wins from four matches. Across the four days, the side showcased consistency with both bat and ball. The boys also demonstrated depth, discipline, and impressive match awareness.
Day 1 – vs Potch Volkskool
Northwood bowled Potch out for 177, spearheaded by Nate Webb’s outstanding figures of 4/23. A composed and unbeaten 94 from Nehal Ramdin finally anchored the chase, guiding Northwood to a comfortable 6-wicket victory.
Day 2 – vs Sandton Cricket Academy
Strong batting contributions also lifted Northwood to 208/8. Zach Green (51) and Ethan Axelrad (47) are finally leading the charge. The bowlers then took control, dismissing Sandton for just 105. Lian van der Walt starred with 3/18, sealing a commanding 103-run win.
Day 3 – vs DHS 16A
Northwood’s bowlers once again dominated, restricting DHS to 96. Lian van der Walt impressed with 4/16, while the chase was executed calmly. Furthermore, Ethan Axelrad composed 30 to ensure a 6-wicket triumph.
Day 4 – vs Rustenburg High School
Rustenburg were bundled out for 117, thanks to incisive spells from Ethan Axelrad (4/15) and Connor Thompson (3/8). Nehal Ramdin’s unbeaten 70 capped off the festival in style, securing a convincing 9-wicket victory.
