Die toer was ‘n groot leerproses vir die drie krieketspelers en hulle het dit baie geniet. Daandré was aangewys as die bouler van die toer. Hy het in die tweede wedstryd, sewe paaltjies geneem. Dit het vyf paaltjies in een boulbeurt ingesluit! Hy het in hierdie boulbeurt vier paaltjies in ‘n ry laat val.
Baie geluk aan hierdie drie manne. Hoërskool Strand se eie kriekethoof, mnr. Henk Conradie, was die afrigter wat saam met die spelers op die toer genooi was.
Cricket tour to India. Three learners from Strand High School, Daandré Walker, Nathan Drotskie and Nicholis Martin had a successful cricket tour of India.
The tour was also a great learning process for the three cricketers, and they really enjoyed it. Daandré was also named the bowler of the tour. He took seven wickets in the second match! That included five wickets in one over! He also dropped four wickets in a row in this over.
Congratulations to these three gentlemen! Strand High School’s own cricket principal, Mr. Henk Conradie, is the coach who was invited along with the players on the tour.
