Karate Championships – Bridget Otto won gold for Kumite

Karate Championships. Bridget Otto is a Grade 10 learner at Eunice Girls High School competed in the SKA Club Championships over the weekend. She won gold for Kumite and bronze for Kata.

Bridget won the trophy for the “Best Senior Karateka” of the year as well as the trophy for the “Best development”.

She also competed at the annual WSKF SA’s in Vanderbijlpark on 1 and 2 October and did extremely well. She won a gold medal for Kumite, a silver for Kata and a bronze medal for basic Kumite.

Bridget also graded for her black belt and passed with distinction.
