International Science Fair. “My name is Reaotshepa Romane from the North West Province in the Ngaka Modiri Molema Region, and I attend Ramotshere Secondary School. I am excited to share my project, titled ‘Automatic Water Conservation and Energy Efficiency System’, which earned me a Gold medal at the International Science Fair in the Environmental Studies category.
This project addresses the significant waste of water and energy in households and businesses due to inefficient practices and the lack of automation in traditional systems. By utilizing smart technology, my system detects the presence of individuals and adjusts water flow, significantly reducing waste and promoting responsible consumption. Overall, the ‘Automatic Water Conservation and Energy Efficiency System’ aims to enhance resource management, lower utility costs, and positively impact the environment.”
