In the u17 long jump event, the record was first matched then broken three times! The old record was set at 4,52m and Ruvimbo Pasipamire matched it. Bianca Rees-Gibs broke the record with a distance of 4,62m. Jaydene Barnard then set a new record at 4,67m.
Anebel Venter smashed these records with a new record of 4,77m to take gold!
What makes this even more special is that all four ladies are representing Steedman!
