‘n Leerder van Hoërskool Aliwal Noord se Matriekjaar is die jaar van laastes voor al die eerstes begin. Dit is verseker die jaar waar leerders ‘n leeftyd se herinneringe en vriendskappe wat tydens hulle skoolloopbaan gevorm is afsluit. 
Grade 12s this is, by far, the most memorable year of a teenager’s life as they get to experience their first taste of responsibility by writing their final examinations and getting the opportunity to attend a matric farewell. 
For the first time in ANHS history we held a Matric Farewell Function outdoors! Due to Covid regulations we had to think on our feet, but it did not deter from making it an evening to remember.
The quad was transformed into an elegant setting fit for glamorous guests.
The gents looked dapper and the ladies looked phenomenal! It was an incredible evening spent under the stars.
