History Exhibition. The History Exhibition of Curro Waterfall, Midrand Gauteng, showcased learners research on events in world history. It enabled learners to relate historical events with present day events.
The exhibition was held on 9 March and caught the attention of many, with the interesting topics presented. Amongst them was the history of the Olympic Games and the history of Korean Music. In studying history, learners develop an understanding of the world. They also learn about different societies and develop valuable critical thinking skills. That enables one to analyze, evaluate and question information that is presented to you. This is a skill that is required in various fields of work. As George Santayana once said, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”.
