The Glenwood Sports Academies were established and have been functioning since 2002. Glenwood has invested a great deal into the Academies over the years. Top coaches and mentors facilitate these Academies.
Today, during assembly, old boys Donn Stewart and Daniel Sibbald were honoured.
The Water Polo Academy has been named the Donn Stewart Water Polo Academy and the Hockey Academy will in future be named the Daniel Sibbald Hockey Academy.
Donn Stewart is a South African Water Polo player, who has over the past few years represented South Africa many times and Daniel Sibbald is a South African Hockey player, who has represented South Africa several times.
