Glenwood High School. Glenwood High School, Durban, welcomed their Grade 8 Gibson Boys on Saturday 14 January 2023 to ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????? ???????????????? ????????????!

The boys and their parents arrived at noon and were welcomed by Glenwood High School’s Headmaster, Mr Pierre Jacobs. Also the Superintendent of Gibson House, Mr John Duncan, Gibson Masters and Prefects.

After a formal welcome address by the Headmaster of Glenwood High School, Superintendent and Gibson Staff everyone also enjoyed a braai.

The boys were also treated to an evening of rugby at the Shark Tank. They watched the Sharks take on Bordeaux in this season’s Champions Cup. It was also the Sharks’ third win in a row in the competition this season. The team secured the bonus point with their five tries, winning 32 – 3.

It was thrilling for the boys to see Springbok and old boy scrumhalf Jaden Hendrikse being awarded Man of the Match. He had also score two tries with some quick play.

Gibson boys enter the school at a significant stage of emotional and physical development. “At Glenwood High School we aim to develop the whole person, imparting skills, ensuring that boys depart as responsible, young men in the community.”
