Gauteng Dance team. Mikela Lioundris, Learner from Marais Viljoen High School in Alberton, went through two qualifying rounds to qualify for the Gauteng dance team between April and May placing 1st and 2nd.
She qualified for the team and she also received her Gauteng colours. She competed at Nationals on the 21st of July and placed 1st in the country for her HipHop solo and HipHop small group.
Mikela then qualified for the official dance team of South Africa and received her Protea colours on the 29th of September. She will be representing South Africa at the IDO World Championships in North Macedonia from the 9th to the 17th of October.
