St Andrew’s Colts Cricket. St Andrew’s Cricket Shines Again! 🌟
Congratulations to FG Botha on making his debut for the Free State Colts Cricket, Men’s Provincial team today at Mangaung Oval against the North West Dragons.
FG stepped onto the field alongside recent Old Boy and 1st XI standout Naudé Botha (2025), continuing the Andrean tradition of excellence. His selection comes hot on the heels of a superb 75 against KES for the 1st XI—a performance that earned him the call-up to today’s provincial clash.
What makes this achievement even more special is that FG is one of only a handful of schoolboys to be chosen for the Men’s provincial side. He shared the field with another proud Old Andrean, Dakalo Leketa (2024), showing once again the strength of St Andrew’s cricketing pipeline.
St Andrew’s has built a proud legacy of producing cricketers who rise to the highest levels, and FG’s debut is yet another shining example of the talent nurtured within the school’s cricket structure.
