Fish Canoe Marathon. Greg Palframan, Grade 11 learner of St Charles College, was unable to compete in the Fish Canoe Marathon last week, so he decided to paddle 100km in loops at the Drift on Saturday.
He started at 4:30am and spent the next 11 hours paddling, mostly on his own except for 2 hours of company from fellow Saint, Joel Kempthorne. This unusual and epic feat has earned him huge respect in the paddling community. St Charles College congratulate Greg and look forward to many more ‘firsts’ coming from him in the world of endurance sport. – Mr Rowan Irons (Director of Sport)
